It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Esther Ndunge Mating’i on 15th December, 2022.

Wife to the late Johnson Mating’i Mwikya. Daughter to the late Nzivo Mwanika and the late Ruth Mumbua Nzivo. Mother to Rosemary Wavinya, Richard Matingi, Jane Kilonzi, Grace Mutava, Jacob Kyalo, Edward Matingi, Charles Matingi and Rose Nduku.

An in-law to Nzambia, Kilonzi, Kasilia, Mwangi Peter Maithya, Walui Nganga, Belita Katumbi and Kimitei Misoi.

Mother-in-law to the late Nzambia Nthuka, the late James Mutava, the late Catherine Ndunge, Anthony Kilonzi, Nancy Wangari, Lydia Kalunde, Justina Kavuu, Jane Chepkoech and Sarah Kadzungu. A grandmother to 42 grandchildren.

Great-grandmother to: Romana, Yusuf, Mariam, Ayira, Leo, Shawn, Mitchelle, Lincon, Levi, Ryan, Ethan, Romeo, Debra, Prince, Tiara, Bobby, Jayden.

Aunt to Hon. Johnson Nduya Muthama (UDA Chairman), Senior Chief Wellington Ndonye, Peter Mwanika, Peter Masila, Flabian Muli and many others.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at her home in Uamani village, Mwatati Sub-location, Matungulu Location, Machakos County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Machakos on Friday 23rd December 2022 at 8.00am for the funeral service at her home in Uamani village, Mwatati Sub-location, Matungulu Location, Machakos County. The funeral service starts at 10.00am.
