We regret to announce the demise of Esther Wangui Wagura of Kiguru Village, Amboni Sub Location, Mweiga Location, Nyeri County.

Daughter of the late Njui Guoko and the late Nyamachohi Njui. Wife of the late Edward Wagura Kimari. Mother of Perk Nyawira, CPA Peter Kimari, the late Charles Njui, Dr. Phyllis Muthoni, Merioth Wangechi, David Muriithi, John Wachira, Eustus Biringi and Susan Waihuini.

Mother in law of Lucy Kimari, Margaret Njui, Muturi Kigo, the late David Korir, Eunice Muriithi, Jane Wachira and Margaret Biringi.

Sister of Merioth Wangechi, James Njui, Ann Kibutu, Patrick Kariuki, the late Daudi Wachira, the late Kiraguri Njui, the late Paul Mucemi, the late Joseph Githaiga, Agnes Nyathogora, Prof. Francis Njui and Beatrice Wamahiga. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kiguru Village, Amboni Sub Location, Mweiga Location for prayers and burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home on Tuesday 9th December 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for a funeral service at Kiguru P.C.E.A church at 10:00 a.m followed by burial at her home in Kiguru farm.
