It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Esther Wanjiku Gitau on June 9th 2019.

Loving wife of Charles Gitau Mutuura of Chester Services Ltd and Africa Agribusiness Academy (AAA). Doting mother of Robert Mutuura (formerly of JKUAT), Joel Mbugua (UoN) and Terry Watiri (Sacho High School). Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Joel Mbugua Chere of Githunguri, Kiambu. Daughter-in-law of Robert Mutuura of Nakuru and the late Teresia Watiri Mutuura. Sister of John and Priscillah Chere of Nyeri, Joseph Karanja (Wanyororo), Monica and Jimnah of Kemwenja TTC, Jane Ben (Moto), Martha Rerei, Daniel Muigai, Rev. Israel Mbugua, Haroun Kinyanjui, Sarah Wagikuyu, Naomi Wambui and the late Johnson Muniu. Sister-in-law of Jane Mukami (USA), Regina and Njoroge Gichuha (Turi), Susan Nyambura (Nku), Felistas Wangui (UK), Grace and Peter Komu (Nku), Pauline Wambui (USA) and Rosemary Wangari (USA). Auntie of the Terrys, the Mutuuras, the Mbuguas and many others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangement at their residence in Nakuru (Naka Estate) from 5 pm and Hotel Waterbuck, Nakuru from 6pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home- Nakuru on Friday, 14th June 2019 at 9am for a requiem Mass at St. Monica Catholic Church (Section 58, Nakuru) and thereafter burial ceremony at Nakuru North Cemetery.
