Felix Mkan Okello

It is with deep sorrow and with a quiet acceptance of God’s will, that the family of Mr. Felix Mkan Okello announces his passing on March 10, 2026.

Mr. Okello was the eldest son of the late Peter Okello Mkan and the late Ann Franciscar Oloo Muganda.

He was a loving husband of Pamela Achieng’ Okello. He was a devoted father of Marie Okello, Dr. Roselyne Okello, CPA Olgah Okello, Adv. Anne Franciscar Okello, and Deogratias Erick Okello, guiding them with patience, pride, and unwavering commitment. Grandfather of Marlene Mkan,Arianna Adaya, and Maxwell Hawi.

He was a brother of Margaret Ogonda, George Otieno, Norbert Jurna, Fred ()keno, Prisca Adhiarnbo, and the late Godfrey Oduor.A nephew, cousin and uncle to many.

He was the son-in-law of Roselyne Awiti and Thomas Oyuga, and a father-in-law of Michael Otieno Ongas and Vincent k’Ofwa. Brother-in-law of Sarah, Simeon, Rosemary, Everlyn, Samuel, the late Beatrice, the late Roselyn, the late Prof. Ogonda. and the .-late Francis.

A fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at- All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi from 5:00 p.m Friends and relatives who wish to support the family may send contributions via MPESA Pay Bill number 4816565 Account Number – Your Name.

The cortege will depart from Umash Funeral Home in Nairobi on Thursday, March 26, 2026, for a requiem Mass at Holy Trinity Kileieshwa at 10:00 am. Thereafter, the cortege will proceed to Sega, Siaya County where a requiem Mass will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m., followed by a night vigil at his Sega home.

The Funeral Service and Mass will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Sega Township Primary from 9700 a.m., followed by burial at his home in Sega.
