Loving father of Joseph Machira and Mary Wangari, Justin Macharia and Watetu, Bernard Mbuthia and Mary Wanjiku, James Muriuki and Ngonyo, Anthony Mutahi and Hellen Gachigi, Mary Gakenia and Johnson Nyaga, Rose Muthoni and Joseph Wanjohi, Eunice Wachuka and Paul Mwangi, late Catherine Wanjiru and the late Boniface Nyamu, late Alice Nyawira, Beatrice Njoki and Joseph Njogu, Peterson Wachira and Ruthjoy Ndunge, Caroline Nyaguthii and Evans Busaka, Josphat Maina and Winnie Wawira and Irene Wagithi. Brother of the late Joan Wachuka, the late Elizabeth Nyawira Gachingiri, late William Mwai and late Charles Muthoga. Grandfather of Gichukis’, Wangus’, Wanguis’, Dr. Jane Machira, Wangari, Kibira, Warui, Wanjiru, Wakera, Kariuki, Munene, Ndambiri, Busaka among many others. Great-grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Tumutumu from 4.00pm and Corner House 5th Floor, in Nairobi from 5.30pm for burial and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave PCEA Tumutumu Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 19th March at 9.00am for a funeral service and burial at his home next to Tumutumu School for the Deaf at 10.00am.
