It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Fred Odanga Odeyo on 31st July 2025.

Son of the late Boniface Odeyo Otaa, the late Mama Getrude Majiwa Odeyo, and the late Mama Angeline Odayo Odeyo.

Husband of Helidah Atieno Odanga.

Son-in-law of the late Joseph Gogo Ochok and Loise Akeyo Gogo.

Father of Jully Odanga and Caren Atee Odanga. Father-in-law of Raphael Otieno Sungu.

Brother of Mzee Vitalis Ojwando, Mary Rajoro, the late John Owaga, Prisca Awino, the late Andrew Otaa,JenipherAdhiambo Onyango, the late Maurice Otaa, Philip Odeyo, Eunice Akoth Ouko, Samson Odoyo, Boniface Otaa, and the late Joseph Kai.

Uncle of Valentine Otieno, Lucy Odhiambo, Dr. John Patrick, Emmarensia Ochieng. Dr. Paul Ojwando, Maurice Otunga, the late Jacinta Atieno, Clementina Akinyi,Victor Otaa, James Otaa, Getrude Akinyi, Boniface Ochieng, Polycarp Onyango, Richard Rajoro, Boniface Rajoro, Huggines Atieno, Dennis Otieno,Willis Odhiambo, and Jessicah Akinyi.

We invite you to join us for a fundraising on 17/08/2025 at our home in Buoye at 3:00 pm, and on 18/08/2025 at 4:00 pm at Holy Family Basilica.

There will be a memorial service at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Ongata Rongai, on 2110812025.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi, on 22/08/2025. Burial will be held on 23/08/2025 at Buoye, Kolwa East Location.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Ongata Rongai.
