Fredrick Ndugi Githae

7th June 1948 to 21st June 2025

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that. we announce the promotion to Glory of Mr Fredrick Ndugi Githae which took place on 21st June 2025 while receiving treatment at the Coptic Hospital Nairobi.

He was the son of the late George Githae and late Sarah Wamuyu and step son of Elizabeth Wambui and Rachael Nyawira.

He was the loving husband of the late Mrs Grace Muthoni Ndugi. A devoted father of Ruth Wamuyu, Samuel Njiiri, James Muriithi, Esther Wandia and Leah Wanjiku.

Father in love of Aggrey, Winnie, Gideon and Abraham.

Doting grandfather of Kevin Ndugi, Teresia Akinyi, Glynn Wangui, Kyle Ndugi, Nathan Ndugi, Grace Muthoni, Tania Angila, Gavril Ndugi, Garren Kinyua and Caleb Mukabi. He was the great grandfather of Imani Wamuyu and many others.

Brother of the late Esther Wanjira, late Joseph Kiritu, Charity Wanjiku, late Harry Kiritu, Charity Gathoni, Rose Wachuka, Ann Murugi, Charles Kiritu, Wilson Muriuki, David Kangau, Catherine Wanjiku, Mary Nyathama.

Brother In law of The late Eustace Warutere, the late Charles Kihato, Peter Miar10, the late Davidson Ngibuini, Priscilla Wanjiku, the late Wainuku, late Kirigo Muraguri, late Kigweru Mathenge, late Joseph Miano, late Munyiri, late Kabithe, Margaret Muriuki, Wamaitha Wachira, Jane Kirigo & John Miano.

Family and friends are meeting daily at PCEA Umoja

Church at 6.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.There will be a memorial service on 26th June 2025 at PCEA Umoja Church at 4.30 pm prayers also being held at his Gitemani home.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 27th June 2025 at 7.00 am. The funeral service will take place at PCEA Kihuri Church, Karatina, Nyeri County at 11.00 am. He will be interred at his Home thereafter.
