It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Fredrick Nyakoe Okong’o which occurred on 8th November 2019.

Son of the late Augustine Okong’o Maugo and late Eucabeth Moraa Okong’o of Nyangoge village. Husband of Elizabeth Kerubo. Father of Beatrice Nyaboke, Jackline Bonareri, Polycup Kerario, Everlyn Bosibori, Collins Nyauma and Winnie Moraa. Son-in-law of Late James Morwoki and late Truphena Morwoki. Brother of Joash Okong’o, Andrew Okong’o, Shem Okong’o, James Okong’o, David Okong’o, Dorothy Okong’o and Melsa Okong’o. Father-in-law of Evans, Joseph, Lisa, Julie, Wyclife and Moureen. Grandfather of Arnold, Allan, Panalope, Faith, Irene, Roan, Katlego, Junior, Dylan, Mongina, Keith and Liam. He was great grandfather of Kiyan. Brother in-law of Mary, Stephen, Charles, Abigail, Wilkister, Albert, Josephine and Reuben. Korera of Late Ongaga, Late Nyaruri, Late Kgotla, Atambo, and Gori.

Daily meetings and burial arrangements are taking place at his home in Nyandoche Ibere Village.

The cortege leaves AIC Litein Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 21st November 2019, pass through his ancestral home Nyangoge Village for Prayer and proceed thereafter to his home in Nyandoche village for overnight stay.

The burial will take place on Friday 22nd November 2019 at his home Nyandoche lbere village, Matutu sub-location, Borabu sub county, Nyamira County.
