It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Freshia Kabui Gitau that occurred on the 9th July, 2019.

Daughter of the late lcungwa Gitua and the late Grace Wairimu Gitua. Sister of the late Wanjiku Kariuki, the late Leah Wambui Gatonye, Paul Njunge lcungwa, the late Stanley Njabu lcungwa and Peter Githuca lcungwa all of Kiambaa Muguga. Step-sister of Margaret Karugi Muroki and others. Loving wife of Stanley Gitau Njoroge. Co-wife of Gladys Wambui Gitau. Mother of Peter Njoroge (Kawangware), Tr. Nancy (Racetrack Junior), Simon Gitau (Nakuru), Moses Gitau (Coop Bank HQ Nairobi), George Gitua (Nakuru), Grace Wairimu (Nakuru) and Gladys Thitu (The Walk).

Step-mother of the late Margaret Nyakinyua, Beth Ng’ang’a (Bahati), Benson Munga (Nyairoko), Stephen Gitau (Truckmart Nkr), Jane Muriungi (PCEA Bahati), John Kamau (Nrb), the late Mary Wanja and Peter Njoroge (MCA). Mother-in-law of Grace Wanjiku, Margaret Wambui, Hannah Nyambura, Esther Waitimu and Brian Njenga. She left 43 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her farm in Mwariki Barut, Nakuru County for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru on Wednesday 17th July, 2019 at 9.00am for the funeral service at PCEA St Stephen Church Mwariki and later burial at her farm in Mwariki Barut.
