It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Geoffrey Kimani Kabaya (Gacheru), a businessman at Gikomba market.

Son of late John Kabaya Wandaka and late Elizabeth Wanjiru Kabaya.

Husband of Alice Wambui Kimani and Naomi Wambui Kimani. Father of Elizabeth Waniiru Mungai, Monicah Kanyi Njoroge, John Gacheru Kimani and Stacy Wanjiku Kimani.

Son in law of late Mr & Mrs John Karanja Gachomba (IlIasit- Loitokitok) and M/s Agnes Wanjiku Kiambuthi (Kigumo).

Brother of Grace Wambui Kamau,George Kabaya (Gacheru), Keziah Njoki Kamau, Alice Wamoni Nienga (Ngumba), late Damaris Wanjiku Wainaina, late Margaret Wangari Nganga.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at his Kahawa Sukari home, his Kihingo – Gathiga residence and at Membley River Park Court – Ruiru.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday 17th February 2026 at ACK St Andrews Church Kihingo, Gathiga at 11 .00am.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral Funeral Home at 9.00 A.M. Burial ceremony on the same day at Kihingo – Gathiga Village home.
