Geoffrey Mbaabu M’Imuthiru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Geoffrey Mbaabu M’Imuthiru, which occurred at 2am on 22 November, 2020 at Consolata Mission Hospital, Nkubu.

Loving Husband of Janet Regeria Mbaabu. Son of the late M’Imuthiru M’kirichiu and the late Nkirote M’Imuthiru (Baine). Father of Consela Nkirote Ochieng (UK), the late Godwin Kimathi, Johnston Muriuki (Meru), Kendi Sorensen (Nairobi), Johh Linturiri (MOH, Meru) Judith Kathure (KNH, Nairobi), Diana Mauwa (Eldoret). Brother of Karuta Mungiria, Josphine Kambura and Mirriam Nkui. Step-son of Mwamkui and Karimi. Son in-law of the late Gerald and Esther Minyori. Father-in-law of Sebastian Onyango (UK), Esther Kananu (Meru), Steve Sorensen (USA), Charles Mwenda (Kianjai), Catherine Mukiri (Meru).

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home at Kalithiria village, Tigania West, Meru County.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mission Hospital Nkubu on 2nd December 2020 at 8.30am for a requiem service at MCK Kalithiria Church, at 9.00am. The cortege will then proceed to his home where it will be laid to rest.
