George Kamau Gicharu (Willy Munyambu)

With deep sorrow, we announce the death of George Kamau Gicharu (Willy Munyambu) on 25th July, 2025, following a brief illness.

Son of the late Gabriel Gicharu Gatura and the late Margaret Nduhu Gicharu.

Father of Lynnet Nduhu, Joy Wahiga, Hadassah Kabui, Gavin Gicharu, Kiama Karanja, Thayu Gatura, Victoria Mmboga, and Kenna Arnia.

Brother of Janet Wambui, Ambrose Gatura, Andrew Karari and Jennifer Kabui. Brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and nephew to many.

Funeral arrangements are taking place daily from 5.00 pm at the Blue Springs Hotel (located along Thika Road) and at his residence in Thome.

There will be a fundraising meeting on Tuesday at Blue Springs from 5.00 pm, and a memorial service on Wednesday in Thome at 5.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (along the Northern Bypass) on Friday, 1St August 2025 at _8:00 am for burial at the family Ithanga farm in Gatanga near Mark First Shopping Centre).
