George Kimani Mwaura

It is with Thanksgiving that we announce the death of George Kimani Mwaura of Kiuru, Uthiru, 87 near ACK St. Pauls which occurred on the 03/05/2019, after a short illness.

Son of the late Kenneth Mwaura and the late Hellen Wanjiru Mwaura of Kianjogu village, Githunguri, Kiambu County. Husband of Lois Wanja Kimani (Wa Njoroge). Doting father of Kenneth Mwaura Kimani, Esther Wanjiru Mungai (USA), Andrew Kiruku (USA), Alice Wangui (USA) and Nicholas Njoroge (Kiuru). Brother of Margaret Kanyingi (Kanjai), the late Elder Jemima Njoroge (Muguga), Dr. Esther Kakonge (Kiuru), the late Eunice Njambi (Ukunda), Erustus Gicheru (Kambi ya Moto), Elizabeth Njoroge (Kangemi), David Njoroge (Umoja), Lucy Njoki Juma, Solomon Chuchu (Kanjai), Lydia Wanjunu Nyachwaya (Sabaki) and Joyce Manyeki (Mt.View). Father-in-law of Catherine Wanjiku Mwaura, Gideon Mungai Njuhu, Winnie Nthenya Kiruku and Sein Njeri Njoroge. Son-in-law of the late Zecharia Kiruku and the late Alice Gakui Kiruku. Grandfather of Yvonne, Thomas, Grace, John, George Mungai, George Njoroge, George Mwaura, Brian, Jasmin, Lois and Faith.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Kiuru every day from 4.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The Cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday 10/05/2019 at 8.00am. The funeral service will begin at 11.00am at his home and burial will follow thereafter at the same venue.
