It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden demise of George Muchori Macharia, a Compliance Officer at the National Construction Authority. George rested on Sunday, 24th July 2022 through a tragic road accident at the Nithi Bridge.

A loving husband to Martha Wanjiru Macharia. Devoted dad to Caroline Bella Gakenia and Michael Owen Macharia.

Cherished son of Michael Muhia Macharia and Caroline Gakenia Macharia of Barnabas, Nakuru. Caring brother to Peter Muhia and Francis Maina.

Doting uncle to Caroline Casey Gakenia. Brother-in-law to Grace Kathure Muhia, Timothy Mureithi, Ruth Mukami, Lawrence Murugi, Lynn Mwenclia, Fred Rikana and Ian Njerera. Son-in-law to the late Nicholas Ngochi Njeru and Susan Wanja Ngochi.

George was a beloved nephew to Ruth Wangari, Beatrice Njeri, Francis Maina, Josephine Murugi, Teresiah Wanjiru, Margaret Wairimu, Johnson Kamau, Edward Ngacha Muchori, Anne Njeri Gitu, Norman Muhoro Muchori, Eunice Wangechi Chege, the late Jacqueline Nyokabi Muchori, the late Grace Wanjiku, Beth Njeri, Regina Gakenia, Peter Ngatia, Mary Muthoni and Nancy Nduta. Much loved cousin, and a friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at the late George parent’s home starting from 6.00pm from 29th July to 1st August 2022 for prayers and funeral arrangements. Daily Mass starts from 5.00pm at the home.

The Cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on Tuesday 2nd August 2022 at 8.00am for the funeral service, final rites and burial at Passenga settlement, near Malan Primary School, about 4kms along Silanga – Passenga Road from Ndundori – Ol-Kalou tarmac road, in Ol-Kalou Sub-County, Nyandarua County.

“In God’s hand you rest and in our hearts you, will live forever. Rest in Peace Our Beloved George”.
