Gerald Murache Muthogo

In acceptance of God’s will, we announce the demise of Gerald Murache Muthogo formerly of Kenyatta University Dep of Geography and later Dep of Environmental planning & Management, which occurred on 9th January 2019.

Son of the late Muthogo Mugweru and late Elishiba Mirigo. Husband of Jean Margaret Wanjugu & Isabella Muthoni. Father of Elizabeth Mirigo, Martha Wachinga, Catherine Wangui, Denis Murimi & Mary Mirigo. Grand father of Jean Jackie Auko, John Jerry Ouko & Gift Kieru. Brother of Lillian Wangui Waithaka, Samuel Maina Muthogo, the late Wilson Kamau Muthogo, Johnson Gachanja Muthogo & Jane Wairimu Muthogo. Uncle of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting in Nairobi at Giathinwa Guest House near Modern Coast bus, in Thika at Coconut Grill near Tuskys Chania Supermarket starting 5.30pm, at his residences in Buru Buru phase I & Thika Phase 13 for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves KU Mortuary on Friday 18/01/2019 at 7.00am for funeral service and burial at 10.30am at the family farm Nyakianga Village, Mathioya Sub County, Niumbi location in Muranga County.
