Geoffrey Manyora Amadi (Our Hero)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved father Senior Superintendent (SSP) of Kenya Prisons Geoffrey Manyora Amadi which occurred on 11/01/2019 while undergoing treatment at Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret.

Son of the late Jotham Amadi and Hellen Amadi. Husband of Virginia Njoki. Loving father of Sarah Amadi-Kericho Prisons, Peris Amadi-Busia Prisons, Judith Amadi-Kak Pri. School, Kevin Amadi-Jarnhuri Prisons, Nixon Amadi-Mahiga Homes Ltd, Nairobi. He is like father to Evans Kagali and Philip Matheka. Brother of the late Edward Amadi, the late Rhoda Muhonja, the late Margaret Namale, Peter Amadi-Subaru Uganda. Beatrice Gayanzi-Nairobi, Phylis Makungu-Vihiga and Kennedy Amadi-PSTC Ruiru. Father-in-law of Justus Mitau, Reuben Komen, Levinah Mutethia and Ruth Oduor. Grandfather of Glen, Walcott, Tanya, Precious, Gift and Ayce Amadi.

The cortege leaves Jumuia Funeral Home in Kaimosi on Thursday 17/01/2018 for a funeral service at PA.G Amalemba, Kakamega before proceeding to his Vihiga Home for two night vigils before being laid to rest on Saturday 19/01/2019.
