Gerald Muriithi Muchori

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance we announce the demise of Gerald Muriithi Muchori that occurred on 16/09/2019 after a long borne illness.

He was the son of the late Paul Muchori and the Peris Njoki. Husband to Mary Wanjiku and father of Jane Njoki, Anthony Muchori, the late Salome Nyokabi (Sally) and Lorna Wambui. Grandfather of Leon Wambua, Kevin Muriithi, Shirleen Wanjiku, Fiona Njoki, Daisy Maina, Caroline Njeri and Betty Waithera. Great grandfather to Azylia, Father-in-law of Dr. Peter Mulinge, Leonard Wahome, Margaret Wambui and Mig Maina. Brother to Isaac Mwangi, the late Felicina Wambui, the late Cyrus Maina, the late John Gichuki, Mary Wanjiru and Judy Wangui. He was uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Maringo Estate, Block G4 Nairobi from 6pm.

He will be laid to rest on Tuesday 24th Sept at their home in Kiria-ini, Gikundu lari Murang’a County. The cortege will depart K.U. mortuary at 7.30am for a funeral service at the graveside, and burial to be held at 10am.
