Wife of the late Kipkoros Setanei Nyongi and co-wife of the late Tapkili and Taptuei. Daughter of the late Arap Koima Chepkwei. Sister of Targor Chebor, the late Arap Chepkurui, the late Targok Kapnyaruiya, the late Kimurei, David Kurui and Grace Kigen. Mother of the late John Kipruto, Esther, Cecilia, the late Margaret, Christopher, Emily and Kiptoo.

Step-mother of the late James Koros, Richard, Nelly, Florence, Ben, Kipkoech, Kibet, Solomon, Tito, Kipkosgei, John, Betty and Mathew. Mother-in-law of Rebecca, Jeniffer, Salina, Priscilla, Julia, Esther, Liza, Purity, Vayonda, Alice, Sarah, Daisy, Jenifer and Risper. Grandmother and Great-grandmother of many.

She will be laid to rest on 20/09/2019 at her ohme in Kures village, Mogotio Sub-county.
