Eulogy

BIRTH: The late Gideon Kung‘u Ng’ang’a was born in 1943 at Lake view village Naivasha to the late Jason Ng’ang’a and the late Dorcas Mwihak.i He was a third born and loving brother to the late Francis Gathungu, Eunice Wambui and Joseph Njoroge

EDUCATION: The late Gideon Kung`u Ng’ang’a started his education in 1949 at Kijabe Primary and thereafter joined Flax School in Uasin Gishu County.

ADULTHOOD: The late Gideon Kung’u Ng’ang’a underwent the right of passage in 1961.

WORK: Gideon Kung’u Ng’ang’a started working at Kijabe Printing Press. He later went to Jinja Uganda where he worked as sales man. When Id Amin took over the late Gideon came back to Kenya and started transport business. He later started a business at Kijabe which he operated till his demise.

MARRIAGE The late Gideon married the late Nancy Wairimu. Thereafter he married his second wife Ann Wanjiku Kung’u. He was blessed with 4 children, who are the late Priscilla Waithera, Faith Mwihaki (La pride), Beatrice Wambui (Nakuru) and Beatrice Nyambura (A.I.C. Kijabe).

CHURCH: The Late Gideon Kung’u Ng’ang’a was brought up in the A.I.C. Kijabe Church and was baptized in 1961 by Rev. Kaguongo.

SOCIAL LIFE: The late Gideon loved all his children, he educated them. Always encouraged them to work hard. He was always jovial to his family.

AILMENT DEMISE: The late Gideon Kung’u Ng’ang’a got involved in a road accident at Kijabe on his way to Nairobi and was taken to A.I.C. Kijabe Hospital ICU. He passed on at Kijabe Hospital while under treatment on 24/10/2018 at around 7.00pm. He passed on at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his wife Anne and his 3 children 6 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.

We give thanks to God for the 75 years we have lived together. Praise be to Almighty God. Amen
