Gladys Wambui Muchai

1936 – 2018

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the calling home to glory of our dear mother Gladys Wambui Muchai.

Loving wife of the late Joel Muchai Thiong’o of Karla Village, Githunguri, Kiambu County. Mother of Jane Nduta, Ng’ang’a Thiong’o, Patricia Njeri, Dishon Ndichu, Edward Muiruri, Lucy Wairimu, Anthony Mwangi, Faith Wanjiru, Veronica Waringa and Daniel Mbatia. Mother-in-law of Alice Wanjiku, Lydia Muthoni, Lydia Njeri and Grace Wanjiru. Sister of Cecilia Mwende Njau and the late Machaga Ngechu. Auntie, Grandmother and Great Grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her Nakuru home in Shabab at 4.00pm daily for prayers and funeral arrangements. Nairobi friends meet at the Public Service Club on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves PNN Funeral Home on Friday 9th November 2018 at 8.00am for service at PCEA Nakuru West Surburb Church and burial thereafter Nakuru North Cemetery.

Rest well in the Lord’s arms till we meet again.
