It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Father Mr. Gillan Arunga Ndengu Omuyoma of Vihiga County, ltumbu Sub-location Near Itumbu Primary School, which occurred on 15th October, 2019 at his Farm. The body lies at Aga Khan Mortuary in Kisumu.

Husband of Lydia Nyandiwa Arunga, Father of the late Alice Arunga, Dr. H. Arunga and Lilian Arunga Businessman Nairobi (International Partnership Services East Africa Ltd), Patrick Fanuel Arunga Jemimah Anyago (Businessman, Nakuru) and Samson Hurd Arunga and Noel Samson (IPSEA LTD) and Fredrick Arunga. Brother of the late Javan Omuyoma, Mwalimu Amos Teyie Omuyoma, Mwalimu John Opiayo Omuyoma, Norah Omuyoma, Nyakoa Omuyoma and Rosemary Ambiyo. Grandfather of Nyandiwa Bromiah, Davidson K. Arunga, Esther K. Arunga, Andrew G. Arunga, Lydia N. Fanuel, Mackos Fanuel, Peter Fanuel, Emmanuel Fanuel, Selpha A. Njite, Javan Njite, Ray Samson. In-laws of Albert Kagota Siringi (Maragoli) and the late Wycliff Wandera.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers at All saints Cathedral. There will be a major Fundraising meeting on Friday 25th October, 2019 at All saints Cathedral at 5.30pm. All friends are invited. Burial arrangement are on going and confirmed for 2nd November, 2019. The cortege leaves Aghakan mortuary on Thursday 31st October, 2019 in the afternoon for home. There will be prayers service on Friday 1st November, 2019 at home and a main funeral service on 2nd November 2019 at neighboring primary school and burial thereafter at his homestead.
