It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the promotion to glory of Hon John Kipkorir Kauria (Former Mayor Kericho Municipality) on Friday 18th October, 2019 at St. Luke Hospital Eldoret after a short illness.

Son of the late Kamoing arap Moso and the late Mama Ludia. Step-son to Tapsawe Moso. Beloved husband of Leah Kauria. Father of Florence Langat, Raymond Korir, Leonard Korir (LENS Electricals), Janet Sang (KEMRI), Tonui (Famous Gate) Lydia and Egla Chepkirui. Father-in-law of Alex Mocho (KAA), Dan Sang (James Finlays), Betty Korir (Kaptebeswet Sec), Viola Korir, and Cathy Tonui (KENTONS). Loving grandfather to Alvin Kimutai, Brenda Chebet, Felix, Brenda Cheptoo, Sheer, Sharlyn, Ezra, Italia, Michelle, Rayan, Sharon, George, Ian, Alvin Kiptoo, Brenton, Braxon, Bravin, Blessing, Chris and Karen. Brother to the late Musa Kauria, the late James Kauria, the late Jane Sitienei, Tapelgaa Ngeno, Henry Kauria, Samwel Kauria, Mama Korose, the late Tapkigen Chuma, the late Taprandich Sambai and Chemarus Maruri. Son-in-law of the late Joseph Ngok and the late Sofia Ngok.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Chepkutung home, Kericho from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral home on Friday 25th October 2019 for requiem service in Immanuel AGC Kericho at 4pm.

Funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday October 26th 2019 at his home in Chepkutung village in Kericho, County.
