It is with Humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce promotion to glory of our beloved Gladys Wanjiru Chiuri (Wamithamo) which occurred on Monday July 9th 2018 after a long illness.
Daughter of the late Mithamo and the late Wairimu. Loving wife of the late Samuel Chiuri. Loving Mother of the late Lydiah Wanjugu, Rose Wairimu, Catherine Wanjiku, Stephen Murikuki (Nantech), Godfrey Mithamo, Nicholas Njogu (Mast), James Mwangi, Grace Nyawira (Duken Electricals) and Ann Gathoni. Mother-in-law of Bernard Irungu (Solvchemie Ltd), Kariuki (Embu), Ian Muriithi (Dubai), Nancy Muriuki (Nantech), Wachera Mithamo, Janet Njogu (Mast) and the late Wachuka Mwangi. Sister of the late Gichuru Mithamo, the late Burana Mithamo, Grace Nyawira Ngatia and Kahuthu Mithamo. Loving Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunty to many.
Family, Relatives and Friends are meeting for Funeral arrangements from 5:00pm at Nyamakima Millenium Hotel, All Saints Cathedral and along Mama Ngina St. Thika.
The Cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 7:00am on Thursday 19th July, 2018 for burial service which will commence at 10a.m. at Karura PCEA Church, Magutu Location, Mathira West, Nyeri County.

Cucu, you were my one and only after mum passed on in 2000.
I know time was up since the pain was too much to bare.
You used to be very jovial and sociable but slowly that faded due to pain.
You always asked me when we met “baby,dont you ever eat since i want you to grow as big as i am and i would smile answering back,no cucu.
You big warm hugs with a traditional laughter and WAKIA CUCU is what i remember and miss with many many more memories.
My garana,i will miss you deep and i can see you smiling with guka and my mami.
