It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on to glory of Mr. Glenn Otieno Kasera, Director of Fastsav Enterprises which occurred on the 6th of August 2019 at Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu.

Husband of Susan Odinga of Fisheries department, Kakamega County. Father of Joy Akinyi, Elijah Ochieng, Juliet Anyango and Faithfavour Amondi all of Overcoming Academy Kakamega. Son of the late Andronico Oulu Kasera and Mama Yunia Oulu Kasera of Asembo, Ruma Village. Step-son of Millicent Oulu. Son-in-law of the late Jared Odinga and Mama Julia Odinga (Uyoma, Agege Village). Brother of the late Jane Amayo, Grace Nyangweso (Kisumu), the late Jannet Mito, the late Risper Mboya, Isaac Kasera (USA), Mary Kirumbi (South Africa), Ruth Achieng (Nairobi), Rael Obongo (KIRDI, Nairobi), Herine Carta (Italy), Samuel Kasera (USA) and Josephin Giove (Italy).

Step-brother of Asman, Mayor, Akonde, Aziz, June and Miriam. Nephew of Charles Kasera, the late David Owino, the late George Ouko, Elisha Mitto, Ishmael Olilo, Esau Ogutu, among others. Brother-in-law of the late Evans Amayo, Samuel Nyangweso, Tom Odinga, Charles Onam, Mary Adhiambo, the late Sammy Mboya, Lorna Kasera, Josephat Kirumbi, Jared Obongo, Antonio Carta, Debra Kasera and Luca Glove. Cousin of the Dianga’s, Obonde’s, Okoth’s, Musungu’s, Kasera’s, among others. Uncle of Vallary, Riziki, Nancy, Eva, Patience, Tina, Ricky, Jackline, Lynn among others.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his Kakamega Sichirai home and Kokara home at 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cottage leaves Agakhan Hospital Mortuary Kisumu on the 16th August, 2019 for overnight stay at his home in KokaraVillage in Asembo.

Burial will take place on the 17th August, 2019.

There shall be a fund raising in Nairobi at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 13th August 2019 at 5.00pm. All friends and family are invited.
