It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mama Esther Wanjiku Masika, which occurred on 7th August, 20 I 9 at Jamaa Mission Hospital, Nairobi.

Wife of the late Stephen Masika Kilinda of Mbumbuni Village, Kisau Location, Makueni County. Daughter of the late Nginya Kuria and the late Veronica Gichira of Kagunduini village, Kandara Sub-County, Murang’a County. Mother of Judy Wambui, Frederick Kilinda, Nancy Kasiva, Nginya Masika, the late Gichira, the late Agnes Njeri, Lucy Mwende, Mary Njoki and the late Pius Nzivo. Daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Kilinda Masika and the late Kasiva Kilinda. Mother-in-law to Felistus Mutheu, Rashida Abdul and Wallace Kinyanjui.

Sister of the late Mary Njeri Kimaru, Flora Wathitu Njuguna, Joyce Wambui Kamau, Elizabeth Waithera Nyoike and Teresia Njoki Thanu. Sister-in-law of the late Mwende, the late Kioko, Katake and Ndana Kilinda. Grandmother to Queen, Christine, the late Robert, the late Nicholas, Esther, Stephen, Purity, James, the late Melania, Antony, Edwin, Anwar, Feisai, Eric, Marlene, Leakey, Nelson, Tracy, Trevor and Fidel. Great grandmother of Ryan, Michelle, Melissa., Nigel, Clara, Nikita, Adrian, Olivia, Bradley, Kelsey, Brandon and Raymond.

Friends and family are meeting at Uhuru Estate, Phase 3 beginning 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home along Mbagathi Road on Thursday, 15th August, 2019 at 6:00am for funeral service and burial at Mbumbuni Village at 2:00pm on the same day.
