Godfrey Ouko Muga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Godfrey Ouko Muga on Thursday, 7th August 2025 after a short illness at The Nairobi Hospital.

He was the beloved son of the late Mzee Isaac Muga and the late Mama Grace Odindo of Hundro Village, Gem Sirembe – Siaya County, and stepson of Miriam Muga.

The late Godfrey was a devoted husband of Roseline Apondi Gwada of Mur Ng’iya, Alego – Siaya County. He was a loving father of the late Clarice Ouko, Isaac Ouko (Unilever), Winnie Desma Ouko (Xaverian School), Hillary Ouko (SOLV), and Humphrey Ouko (Unilever). He was a cherished father-in-law of Martine Otieno, Hindra Oduor, and Charlene Otieno, and a doting grandfather of Kyle, Miriam, Albert, Bibiana, Godfrey Kayo, Jakari, Roselyne, and Halley.

He was a dear brother of Mary, Patrick,Tom, Judith,William,Walter, Eliud, Joyce, Night, and Paul, and a treasured uncle, cousin, mentor, and friend to many.

Funeral Arrangements: Friends and relatives are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at their Kisumu home and the family home in Hundro Village, Gem Sirembe – Siaya County.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home for Kisumu on Friday, 29th August 2025. A Requiem Mass will be held at ACK St. Monica Nyamasaria Church, Kisumu. Thereafter, the cortege will proceed to the family home in Hundro Village, Gem Sirembe – Siaya County. Funeral Service & Burial Saturday, 30th August 2025 From 10:00 a.m. At the family home in Hundro Village, Gem Sirembe – Siaya County.
