It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Grace Akinyi Amayo Obilo, of Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) on 28th August 2019.
Beloved wife of Joseph Obilo, Daughter of Mzee James Amayo Ogwang and the late Mama Risper Amayo. Mother of Perpetua Obilo, Marcella Obilo, Antonina Obilo and Brian Obilo Grandmother of Jamal Odhiambo. Loving sister of Serrah Wanyande, Prof Erastus Amayo, Elizabeth Amayo, Nelly Mbati, Wallace Amayo and Margaret Amayo. Sister in law of Prof. Peter Wanyande, Prof. Angela Amayo, Mbati Iyadi, Daisy Amayo, the late Pius Odongo Obilo, the late Fancis Nyayen Obilo, Charles Arego Obilo, Paulina Aduwa, Mary Owuor, Serphina Otuoma, Hellena Adhiambo, Helida Odongo, Philista Nyayera, Phyllis Arego Obilo and loving aunty and cousin of many.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday 13th September, 2019 at 6:00am and the burial will take place on 14th September, 2019 at her home in Yiro Village, Nyamonye, Bondo Sub-County.
