Grace Wangari Njoka

 1938-2019

We the Njoka family wish to announce the death of Grace Wangari Njoka (retired lay leader).

Beloved wife of the late Ezra Njoka (former member of Parliament Embakasi). Daughter of the late Jason Macharia and Milkah Nyambura. Loving mother of the late Joseph Njuguna, Joseck Macharia, David Warui, Steve Kirubi, Peter Thuku (KTDA), Margaret Mukami, John Irungu and Lucy Nyambura. Mother-in-law of Babra, Nancy, Jayne, Rose, Joyce and Gacheru. Sister of Kellen, the late Isabella, Lillian, Sarah and Catherine, Stephen and Bernard. Grandmother of many.

Prayers and meeting are being held at her home, opposite Kamiti Prison.

Memorial service to be held on 18th August 2019 at her home from 3.pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 20th August at 8.00pm, thereafter funeral services will be held at A.C.K St. Marks new Kamiti starting from 11.00am. Burial will be held at home at Kamiti (opposite Kamiti prison).
