Son of Wilson Mbui Mbataru and Judith Tirindi Mbui. Son-in-law of the late Erastus Nkanata and the late Agnes Nkanata and Beatrice Nkanata. Loving husband of Grace Kinanu Mbabu. Father of Ann Nkirote, Antony Mawira and Eva Mwendwa. Grandfather of Natashah Makena. Brother of Rev. Felix Karimba, Eliphas Mwiti, Rose Kajuju, Grace Njiru, Mercy Kinoti, he late Emily Kathambi, Rev. Lucy Micheni, Kenneth Marangu and Joy Kinya.

Brother-in-law of Teresiah Karimba, Purity Mwiti, the late Fredrick Kinoti, Rev. Family members, relatives and friends are meeting at 3.00p.m. daily at his Gituntune home in Gatakene village for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nkubu Consolata Hospital – Morgue on Tuesday 20/08/2019 for a funeral service at the P.C.E.A church Gatakene at 10:00a.m. and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his Gituntune home.
