It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the sudden death of Grace Wanjiru Ndung’u which occurred on 26th December, 2022 at Murang’a Level 5 Hospital.

Wife of the late Harrison Ndung’u Kinandu of Zaina village, Ndathi Sub-location, Kabaru location, Nyeri county.

Daughter of the late Cyrus Karienye and the late Leah Wamwari. Sister to the late Peter Ndirangu, the late Purity Wangui (Wakarienye), the late Kariuki, the late Kimondo, Lucy Njoki and Benard Kangangi (BK).

Mother to Irene Wairimu Macharia-King’ori Munyaka-Kinangop), Ann Kinyanjui Njihia Murang’a), Duncan Gichuki Ndung’u (Maiella), Ruth Josephine Ndung’u (Chaka), Cyrus Maina Zimmerman), Esther Wangui (wa-Luka), Ann Wangari (Nyeri Town), Peris Njoki (wa Judy-engineer), Martha Ndung’u (Ministry of Livestock-Gatanga), John Kariuki Ndung’u (Lavington), Eunice Wakarima (Kitengela).

Mother-in-law to the late Gerald Macharia King’ori, Dr. Njihia (Murang’a), Hannah Wambui Gichuki (Maiella), Eunice Wairimu Kariuki (Ndathi). Grandmother and Great-Grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Ndathi at Dr. Njihia’s residence in Kiharu estate, Murang’a as from 3.00pm.

The cortege will leave Jamii Funeral Home- Karatina on 4th January, 2023 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial at her home at Ndathi.
