Hannah Wangui Muya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Hannah Wangui Muya on 8th August 2025.

Wife of the late Nathan Muya Thomas.

She was the daughter of the late Nebert Maingi and the late Elizabeth Wangari of Githiga, Muranga and daughter in law of the late Thomas Kimani and the late Loise Wanjiru of Githiga Muranga.

Mother of Bishop Samuel Kamuri, Nebert Muya, Rev Priscilla K.J, Pastor Elizabeth Muya, the late Solomon Muya, the late Sammy Kimani (Masanduku), the late Stephen Njoroge, the late Esther Njambi, Pastor Hellen Kariuki, John Muya, the late Joseph Muya, Dorcas Muya, Isaac Muya and Robert Muya.

Sister of the late John Gathara,the late Njoki,the late Herina and the late Edith.

Sister-in-law of the late Efethi, the late Irungu, Ruth, the late Njoroge, Priscilla, Margaret, Munga and Waruino.

Mother in law of Esther Kamuri, Loice Njoki, KJ., the late Lucy, Catherine Wanja, the late Reuben, the late Kariuki, Judy,Alice and Loice Mwangi. Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home on Wednesday 20th August at 7.00am for burial at her home in Marmanet Nyahururu from 10.00am.

Family and friends will meet on 14th Thursday, 15th Friday, and 18th Monday at All Saints Cathedral at 5.00pm.
