It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Harrison Wairagu Kanyi (Rurigi) of Ruirii, Gichiche Village, Chinga location, Othaya which occurred on 2nd June 2019.

Beloved husband of the late Esther Mugure Wairagu. Son of the late Maxwell Kanyi Wachira and the late Nancy Njoki Kanyi. Father of the late Winnie Njoki, the late Millicent Wakanyi, Humphrey Kanyi, Bedan & Lucy Njuche, Stephen & Esther Wachira, Emily Wothaya, Julius & Rev. Mary Gichohi, Richard & Helen Gachoka, Jedidah Wangari, Florence & Stephen Kagunda and Julia & Julius Kimani. Brother of the late Gerald Wachira (Gioko) and George Gichohi Kanyi. Grandfather of Lawrence & Mary Wairagu, Charity, Ann, Njoki, Jacqueline, Helen, Victor, Risper, Sharleen, Esther, Vivian, Lilian among others. Great grandfather of Stephanie, Gift and others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home-Ruirii and at Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi from 5.30pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mission Hospital Mortuary – Kiriai-ini on Tuesday 11th June, 2019 at 9.00am for a funeral service at A.C.K St Barnabas Church Gichiche and burial at his home in Ruirii, Chinga Location.
