HENRY PAUL OKUMU DIMBA

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the promotion to glory of Henry Paul Okumu Dimba.

Husband of Dr. Beatrice Akong’o Dimba of Strathmore University. Henry is the son of the late Dimba Okumu and the late Anna Awange, and the son-in-law of the late Shem Odhiambo and Elizabeth Omore Odhiambo from Bar Agulu, Siaya. He is also brother of the late Consolata Akello, the late Michael Gungu, Fransisca Onura, Martin Onden’g, George Dimba, and brother-in-law of the late James Otieno, Jane Mungata, Charles Agunga, Noel Oyoo, the late Aggrey Omondi, Ursula Ouma, Aloys Obunga, Sarah Owuor, Daniel Oloo and Pauline Gamba. Henry is father of David, Caroline, Elizabeth, Dominic, Susan and Joseph. He is also the father-in-law of Dr. Magdalene Dimba, David Abwoga and Lina Dimba. He is the grandfather of Elizabeth Akinyi, Tony, Anthonina, Careen, Natalie, Nicole, Betty, Tina, Henry, George-Michael, Henry Lemaiyan, Beatrice Akong’o, Zahra Akoneo, and an uncle of many.

Funeral arrangements are on-going at Henry’s Ongata Rongai residence.

There will be a Mass held at that Ongata Rongai residence on Thursday 7th February at 6 pm. A second Mass will be held at the Strathmore University Chapel, Madaraka on Friday, 8th February at 12.30 pm.

There will also be a harambee on Saturday, 9th February at his Ongata Rongai residence starting 3 pm.

Burial will be at his home in Koru on Saturday, 16th February 2019
