Joab Kiptanui Rotich

It is with deep and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Joab Kiptanui Rotich which occurred on 30/1/2019 at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Eldoret.

Son of the late Shaka Kiprotich Arap Shore and Jelagat Shore. Brother of Benjamin Shaka Tanui. Husband of the late Margret Rotich and Madgalene Rotich. Father of Costandina Songok, Abel Rotich, Elizabeth Bor, Hellen Milgo, Paul Tanui, Haron Tanui, Florah Kolum, Joyce Songok, the late Lydia Jepkemboi, Alice Jepkorir, Rose Loriwaruk, Elizabeth Sugut, Roselyne Limo, Carolyne Yego, John Tanui, jackline Sang and Charles Tanui. Son-in-law of the late Mr and Mrs Kimase and the late Mr and Mrs Chemed. Father-in-law of Songok, Monica, Bor, Milgo, Milkah, Emily, Joseph, Songok, Joel, Benjamin, Daniel, Henry, Sharon, and Martin.He has left behind 68 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Family members are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home Kurgung village, Mosop constituency, Nandi county from 3:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 7/2/2018 at 10:00 am for church service and overnight stay at home.

Burial service will be held at his home in Kurgung village, Mosop Nandi on Friday 8/2/2018 starting from 9:00 am.
