Husband of Eunice Wanjira Njiru of Ndamunge village, Kanja in Embu East, Embu County. Son of the late Jephitha Nthawa Getambu and the late Jelia Runji Jephitha and Agnes Jephitha. Son-in-law of the late Benson Kagau and the late Esther Weveti Kagau. Father of Isaac Muriithi and Evlyne Muriithi. Grandfather of Sandra Muriithi.

Brother of the late Ella, Jeremy & Ruth Mungai, Dr. Antony and Dr. Esther Getambu, Nancy and Charles Njagi, Newton and Stella Njiru, Edwin and Edith Mwaniki, Pauline and Mathew Ndwiga, the late Peter and Joan Muriithi, Anne Muthoni, Bilha Njoki, David and Alice Njeru. Cousin, Uncle and grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Ndamunge home, Kanja in Embu East, Embu County for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Friday 25th October, 2019 at 9:00am for funeral service at his Ndamunge home, Kanja in Embu East, Embu County.
