His Grace Retired Archbishop Most Rev. John-Henry Tulu “Wuon Ong’ong’a”

The Evangelical Christ Church of Africa (ECCA) “Hera Mar Adier” regrets to announce the passing on of its founding father, His Grace the Retired Most Rev. Archbishop John Henry Tulu “Wuon Ongong’a”.

Son of the late Mzee Ongong’a and Mama Mathilda Ongong’a. Loving husband of Mama Bertha Tulu. Brother of Dorca Araya, Samwel Okumu, Joyce Onuko and Leonard Nyangwara. Father of Dorothy Ogada, the late Timothy Tulu, Jane Akinyi and Jacob Oruma Okumu. Grandfather of Jack, Jackline, Caro, Joyce, Goretty, Eunice, Kennedy, Harrison, John, Mick, Steve, Bertha, Felix and others. Father-in-law of Rosemary, Mary and Linet, Ogada San’gany, Caleb Oto and Gilbert Ouma and others. Nyawana of the late Stephen Oto Ogutu.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Milimani Hospital Mortuary at 9:00am on Thursday 6th June 2019 for viewing and prayers at Kenyatta Sports Ground Kisumu from 10:00am-12noon. Thereafter the cortege proceeds to ECCA Church HQ at Ogango for overnight vigil.

The cortege leaves for Home in Lambwe Valley on Friday 7th June 2019 at 10.00am and will be laid to rest on 8th June 2019 and will be Presided over by Archbishop Naftali Yongo Okuon of ECCA.
