It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely departure of Hon. Joshua Owiti Osuri, that occurred at Siaya Medical Center on 7th May, 2021, after a long illness bravely borne. Formerly MCA South East Alego Ward – Siaya county and former long serving Principal Agoro Oyombe Secondary School.

Son of the late Zaddock Osuri and the late Dorka Osuri. Son-in-law of the late Mzee Henry Oswago and the late Mama Dinah Oswago. Beloved husband of Mama Florence Awino Owiti (Ng’iya Mixed School). Loving father of Dr. Kevin Osuri, Eclipse Akinyi, Edwin Osuri, Phillip Ben Osuri, Diana Osuri and Ricky Henry Osuri. Grandfather of Eileen, Churchill, Timo, Natty, Milan, Gemma, Justin, amongst others. Father-In-law of Lawrence Oduor, George Ajowi, Imelda Osuri and Barbara Ngome.

Brother of Walter, Justus, the late Hesborn, Elizabeth and James Osuri. Brother-in-law of Major. Rtd. James Oswago, Samuel Awuor, Oscar Oswago, Ruth Odongo and many others. Uncle, mentor and friend to many.

Friends and Family will be meeting for prayers, fundraising and funeral arrangements on 18th May, 2021 at his home. Kindly channel your contribution through Mpesa no. 0721239062.

The cortege leaves Masaba Funeral Home – Chulaimbo, on 21st May, 2021, for his home in Mbeji village, Mur Ng’iya Sub-location, Siaya County. Funeral service will be held at Gulf Academy School grounds (Mbeji School), on 22nd May, 2021 and thereafter, procession for interment at his home. Gok MoH Covid-19 protocols will be observed.

Psalms: 17:15 “As for me, I shall be vindicated and shall see your face; when I wake, I shall be satisfied with seeing your likeness.”

    Mama junior, I am shocked to hear the death of japuonj. We have said pole sana. I have no words to say. A great friend to Mr Adongo. The children said, baba’s friend has gone to rest. Pole sana.
