Hon. Nyarangi Moturi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Hoh Nyarangi Moturi on 10th October 2018. He served in the sixth Parliament (1987-1992) as the MP for North Mugirango/Borabu and in Government as the Assistant Minister for Energy.

Son of the late Mzee Nemuel Moturi, the late Mama Sarah Kemunto and the late Mama Lydiah Moraa. Son-in-law of the late Mzee Samuel Masita Bwana and Mama Eunuke Nyanchoka. Beloved husband of the late Susan Kwamboka. Loving father of Dennis Moturi the late Eileen Mochama, Violet Mwango, the late Tom Mong’are, Elvira Mokua and Edwin Nyarangi. Father-in-law of Gemma Bosibori, Tony Ogenche, Dennis Mokua and Sameera. Doting grandfather of Michelle, Samuel, Michael, Bella, Tim, Dylan, Neema, Micah, Jeddicog Zach, Zariah and Zeyanah. Great grandfather of Fahari Tochi Mansa.

Brother-in-law of the late Elizabeth Nyaboga,Teresa Nyaboga, Esther Oyugi, the late Johnson Ocharo, the late Nyaruri Momanyi, the late John Ogwora, Samuel Motanya, Grace Moturi, Wilfred Momanyi, Doris Moturi, Sophie Moturi, Grace Nyachae, Lucy Moturi, Pius Ondieki and Ken Nyachiro. Burial will be at his home, Riamanoti, Matutu Settlement Scheme, Nyamira County on the 26th October 2018.
