1980 – 2025

It is with deep sorrow and yet humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death and funeral of lan Mutua, beloved brother of Wanza Kinothya, Prof. Eddah Mutua, Prof. David Lawrence, Winnie Mutua and the late Lillian Mutua.

He was beloved son of the late Betty Nduku Mutua.

Devoted-uncle of Maingi, Alfred, Morcelli & Bakhoya, nephew of Prof. Rosalind Mutua, Rhodah Mutua, and the late David and the late Phillip Mutua.

Loving cousin of Masaku, Mwikali, Kasi and Michael, cherished and loyal friend to many.

Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Church, Nyerere Road/State House Road, on Monday, 01 September 2025 at 11:00am.

Burial will take place at the family home in Mwala, Machakos County on Tuesday, 02 September 2025 at 11:00am.
