It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Madam Immaculate Akinyi Kirui of Litein High School, on Monday 9th June 2025 at Eldoret Hospital.

Daughter of the late Mwalimu Joanes Otieno Makodhier, Benta Alice Arum and Patricia Otieno of Sirandumb Village, Siaya county. Daughter-in-law of Mr and Mrs Zacharia Tesot.

Loving wife of Wesley Kirui of Kerundut village, Nyongores Ward in Bomet County. Mother of Nlicanor, Isadora, Theodore and Theodora.

Sister of Odhier, Pamela, Ondeng’, the late Ochieng. Olwang’a. Jacky. Mercy, Mary, Dorry, Mulo and AnnLucy.

Sister in-law to the late John, Rachel Kirui, Samuel, Hellen. Rachel Marindany, late Renson, Veronica, Dr. Kipngetich Kirui, Rose, Edison, Janet, Joyce, late Chepkoech, Gladys, Walton, Meresa, Hadev,Winnie, Brin and Veenah.

Aunt of Albert. Keisha, Samuel, Fanuel, Aimee, Victor, Chepkemoi, Chemutai, Kiprono, Cherono and others. Cousin and friend of many.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home in Siloam Kericho on 20/06/2025 for a requiem Mass at Litein High school from 1000 hours and thereafter an overnight stay at her home in Kerundut.

Funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday 21/06/2025 as from 0900 hours.

Immaculate leaves a trail of hard work and excellence.
