Irene Muthoni Gatoto

It is with humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the passing on of Irene Muthoni Gatoto following a short illness on Friday, 10/06/2022 while undergoing treatment at Thika Level 5 Hospital.

She was a beloved daughter of the late Elder Willie Gatoto Njuguna and the late Esther Wangari Gatoto.

She was a loving Mother to Willie Kimanga and Esther Wangari.

She was a sister to the late Zipporah Wambui Mukua, the late Hannah Wanjiku Gatoto, the late Rev. Henry Njuguna Gatoto, the late Mwalimu Stanley Hiram Wathua, the late Salome Mumbi Mburu, Eliud Kimani Gatoto, Joseph Kabue Gatoto and John Waiganjo Gatoto.

She was a dear sister-in-love to the late Hannah Wangari Njuguna, the late Mary Wanjiku Wathua, Margaret Wanjiku Kabue and Charity Njeri Waiganjo, among others. She was an auntie, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and a friend to many.

Family and Friends are meeting for prayers at her home in Kahuguini, Gatundu South Sub-county, Kiambu County, every evening from 1730Hours.

The cortege will leave General Kago Mortuary on Thursday, 16/06/2022 at 1030hours for a Funeral Service and Burial thereafter, at her home in Kahuguini, Gatundu South Sub-county, Kiambu County from 1200Hours.

In God’s Hands you rest Irene, and in our hearts you live forever. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
