We regret to announce the sudden death of Miss Irene Mwihaki Kirika a student at USIU-Africa, which occurred through a tragic accident on Sunday 22nd December, 2019. Daughter of Mr. James Kirika Njoroge and Mrs Rosemary Njeri Kirika of Chania Feeds, Thika.

Sister of Ann Mwihaki and Simon Ngaruiya (USA), Kenneth Waiyoho and Evlyn Njoki, Samuel Muigai, Winnie Waithera and Washington Njoroge.

Cousin of Moses Ngaithe (Kirika Poultry), Susan Waithera (0I-Pajeta Conservancy), James Mburu (Timiza Clinics), Pauline Mwihaki (USA), Charity Waithera (USA), Edda Wambui (USA), Kenneth Wamuti (USA), Mwihaki Nancy, Njeri Minne, Vincent Waweru, Nicholas Njoroge Mukuria and many others.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her parent’s home Maki/ Maporomoko Estate, Thika near Blue Post Hotel, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Tuesday 31st December 2019 at 8:00am for funeral service at ACK St. James Gakui Church at 11:00am and thereafter burial at her father’s farm at Gakui Village, Gatundu North.

It’s God who gave us Irene and Its God who has taken her. May His name be glorified.Amen!
