Irene Njeri Thairu

We the Thairu family wish to announce the death of Irene Njeri Thairu, beloved wife of the late Thairu Wahwai.

Daughter of the late Kimani Thiongo and Nyagatune Kimani. Beloved mother of the late Leonard Njenga Thairu, Samuel Kimani Thairu, Margaret Wanjiku Kiruri, Sospeter Magua Thairu, the late Elijohn Thiongo Thairu, Grace Nyagatune Chege and Kennedy Mbugua Thairu. Sister of the late Janet Wanjiru Timothy and Peris Wambui Waihurnbu.

Irene will be fondly remembered by her Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-great-grandchildren.

Prayer meetings are being held at her home in Kabete, at Karura-Kanyungu.

The cortege leaves Gacii funeral home on Thursday 15th August, 2019 for burial at her Karura Kanyungu home starting at 11.00am.
