It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Isabella Wambui Munene from Wariruta, Mathira West, Nyeri County.

Daughter of the late Joseph Gakage Gatundu and the late Beatrice Mukami Gakage. Sister of Benard Gatundu, Phylis Njoki and late Charles Muthigani.

Wife of the late Retired Elder Johnson Munene Mathenge. Mother of Symon Mathenge Munene and a mother in law of Sarah Mumbi Mathenge. Grandmother of Isabel and Cephas (Anchor Leather), Munene and Susan (Regent Valuers), Caroline and Ruel (Business), Susan (Cannon Group), Elder Karangi and many others.
Great grandmother of Victor, Ryan, joy, Myla, Rael, Charlyne and Bella.

The cortege will leave Tumutumu Mortuary on Thursday 18/12/2025 at 8.00 a.m. The funeral service will take place at PCEA Kianjogu Church starting at 10.00 a.m. followed by burial at her home in Wariruta Market.
