It is with humble acceptance the God’s will that we announce the death of Jacinta Wanja Manegene, which occurred on 10-02-2020 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

She was the Principal of Gatwe Secondary School. She has been ailing for a long time and was treated in different hospitals like Aga Khan (Nairobi), Mater (Nairobi), Nairobi Women (Nairobi), Nairobi Radiotherapy, Cancer Centre and Kenyatta National Hospital.

Daughter of the late John Mariara and the late Grace Kagure. Wife of Clement Manegene (Mutira Girls). Mother of Roselyn Wamwitha (SEACOM), Hilda Kagure (USIU), Ivy Wanjiku (Egerton University), Michael Muriithi and the late Jude Mariara. She was sister of Nyangari, the late Maina, Waithera, Wanjiru, Wamae, Muthigani, Githinji and Gathoni.

Daughter in law of the late Dishon Kinyua and the late Margaret Wamwitha. She was sister-in-law of the late Irungu, Jane, Wangechi, Karimi, and the late Kaguu, Kariuki, Waruguru and Kimani.

Friends and family members are meeting at their Kagumo home next to Kagomo Catholic church, Kirinyaga County from 4 p.m.

The cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya funeral home on Tuesday 18-02-2020 at 9:00 am followed by funeral Mass at Kagumo Catholic Church at noon.

May Almighty God rest her soul in eternal peace. Amen!
