It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Jacqueline Muhatia Makotsi Wandabwa, of State Department of Housing and Urban Development, which occurred on Tuesday 2nd July 2019 at St Domianos Hospital Bungoma after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Aggrey Collins Lwoyelo Makotsi and Mama Imelda Nasimiyu Nabwana. Wife of Evans Wandabwa and mother of Sean and Joseph Wandabwa.

Daughter-in-law of Margaret and Joseph Wandabwa. Sister of Cornelius Sikawa (USA). the late Martin Pepela, Ludwine Kiprop, William Makotsi, Constance Muhadia (Ministry of Labour, Busia), Bramwell Makotsi (State House) Lorraine Makotsi, Dorothy Makotsi (DTB), Doreen Makotsi (National Police Service) and the late Thomas Makotsi.

Niece of Brown Makotsi, Howard Lwoyelo, Jimmy Makotsi, Joseph Mung’aya, Ruth Lwosi, Florence Makotsi, Pamela Makotsi-Sittoni, the late Emmanuel Nabwana, the late Mariah Nabwana, the late Victoria Nabwana. the late Hellen Kukubo, the late Dr Richard Nabwana, Cornelia Nabwana, James Makila, Susan Nabwana and many others.

Sister In-law of Lynne Walsh Sikawa, Joseph Wafula (Ministry of Petroleum & Mining), Moses Ekojot, Pauline Makotsi. Ernest and Sylva Sakwa, Dan and Dorothy Msingo, Oliver and Fatma Wandabwa, Duncan and Julie Wandabwa, Andrew and Makeba Wandabwa, Pauline and Aggrey Maumo, Jackeline, Lydia and Belinda.

Friends and relatives are meeting at their Kitale Home, and at Nairobi Railway Club on Monday the 8th of July 2019, at 6.00 pm. There will be a fundraising on Tuesday the 9th of July at 6.00 pm at Nairobi Railway Club.

Burial will take place at their home in Kitale on Saturday the 13th of July 2019.
