James Aggrey Onyango Ndere (Patel)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will to announce the death of James Aggrey Onyango Ndere (Patel) formerly of Kenya Railways and RVR, of Uhanya lingo Village, Koyeyo Sub-Location, Alego Usonga on 27th July 2025 at the Nairobi West Hospital.

He was loving husband of Lilian Eunice Arwa. Beloved father of Christine (SHOFCO Nbi), Fredrick (Blessed House Kindergaten Utawala), Albert (Utawala), Winnie (National Police Service Hqrts), Nicholas (Somalia), Robert (Kisumu), Joshua (KDF Kahawa), Myriam (SHOFCO Ksm) and Allan (ST Helena).

Son of the late Mzee Joshua Ndere Ombidhi and the late Mama Margarita Awino Kiera, Mama Wilfrida Ndere and Angelina Omondi. Son-in-law of the late Mzee Jonam Onyango and the late Anna Ogwayo of Gem Karariw.

He was dear brother of the late Robert, George Oyake (USA), Julius, the late Bernard, the late Magdalene, John, Pamela, Pius, the late William, Scholar, the late Caroline, Francis and Beatrice.

He was brother-in-law of the late Musandu’s, Siangala’s and the late Mbola’s.

Father-in-law of George Otweyo, Abigael Omondi, Elizabeth Mrari, Obura Nyangaga, Joyce Otieno, Felice Odhiambo, Nashon Tado and Sharon Wasonga.

Nyawana of the Agutu’s, the Maboko’s, the Mazenge’s, the Nyangaga’s, the Ombayo’s, the Oneya’s the Tado’s, and the Ang’asa’s.

Grandfather of 21 and Great grandfather to 1.

Friends and family are having major fundraising on 12th August 2025 at All Saints Cathedral at 5.00prn.

The cortege leaves NWH on Thursday 14th August 2025 for a memorial service at All Saints Cathedral at 2.00pm. He will later be laid to rest on 16th August 2025 at his family home in Uhanya Gongo,Village, Koyeyo Sub location, Alego Usonga, Siaya County.
