James Kariuki lchoya

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of GOD’S will that we announce the demise of James Kariuki lchoya of Ruai (Kariuki’s Bar & Restaurant), which occurred on 16th March, 2021, after a short Illness.

A loving husband to Florence Njeri Kariuki. Father to George lchoya, Maryanne Wangui, Lilian Muthoni and Stephen Njenga. Brother to Jonah lchoya, the late Henry Ndungu, Mary Njeri, Margaret Wairimu, Benjamin Thabu, the late Duncan Maina, the late Jedida Wanjiru, John Mwangi and the late Stephen Kamau. Father-in-law to Andrew Mwanyota, Anthony Maina and Eunice Nyambura and a doting grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ruai and at Kariuki’s Bar & restaurant – Huruma, from 5.00pm. Contributions are also being channeled through pay bill number 8039517.

The late Kariuki’s funeral mass and burial will be held on Tuesday the 23rd of March, 2021, at his home in Ruai, in compliance with MOH Covid 19 guidelines.
