It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden promotion to glory of James Muiruri Gathuru.

Son of the late Peter Gathuru Njonjo and the late Hannah Wangari. Step-brother of Wangui, Njihia, Njeri,Wanjiru and Nungari. Son-in-law of the late Tirus Mwaura Muchina of Kiriko Village. Husband of Teresia Muthoni Muiruri.

Father of Anne Wangari Njoroge (St. Joseph’s High School, Githunguri), Naomi Wangari of USA, Solomon Gathuru (Pascha Dairies), Fidelis Wangui Kimunya (Kawagware) and Martin Mwaura (Kameme FM).

He hails from Miiri village, Kanjai Sub-location, Githunguri, Sub-county Kiambu County.

Family and friends are meeting at his home, daily from 4.00pm for prayers and burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home on Tuesday, 31/7/2018 at 9.00am. Requiem mass and burial rites follow at his home, in Miiri village.
