James Ndung’u Ngatia

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved father, Mr. James Ndung’u Ngatia, which occurred on Thursday, 17/03/2022 at his home.

He was the beloved son of the Late Stephen Ngatia and the Late Grace Wanjugu.

He was husband to the Late Teressah Wambui Ndung’u. Son-in-law to the Late Paul Kairu Gicheru & Alice Wanjiru Kairu of Karima village, Othaya.

He was father to Mary Wanjugu Ngechu (Lineplast Group, Nairobi), Alice Wanjiru Kiiru (Ngecha), Stephen Ngatia Ndung’u (Min. of Interior Co-ordination, National Reg. Bureau, HQs), and Paul Kairu Ndung’u (Infinity Plastics Industries Nrb).

Father-in-law to Paul Ngechu Wangaruro (Lineplast Group, Nairobi), James Kiiru (Ngecha), Martha Kagure (St. Peters’ Academy, Gititu), Jedidah Nyaguthii Kairu (Infinity Plastics Industries Nrb). Grandfather to: David Wangaruro Ngechu, James Ndung’u Ngechu, Severine Wangui Ngechu, Teresa Wambui Kiiru, Teresa Wambui Ngatia, Agnes Wairimu Ngatia, James Ndung’u Ngatia, James Ndung’u Kairu, Teresa Wambui Kairu & Justus Muriithi Kairu.

Brother to the late Joseph Ngunju, Margaret Wambui Muragu, Simon Wambugu, Bernard Kamanu, Charles Mukuha, Jane Muthoni Maina, Jackson Kariuki, Benson Mathenge & Lucy Mumbi Thuo. Step-brother to the late Joseph Ngunju andVenasio Kaguai. Brother-In-law to the Late Pasquelina Wangui Muriithi, Margaret Njeri, Emily Gathoni, John Gicheru & the Late Mary Njoki. Uncle, Cousin & Friend to many.

The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Mortuary on Friday the 25th of March at 8am followed by Funeral Mass at Gititu primary school grounds and thereafter his body will be interred at his farm in LGititu Iocation, Tetu sub county, Nyeri County.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Gititu village at 3.30 pm for prayers and at Severine Cottages, Nairobi daily from 5pm.
